Dickens is one of the great writers of all the time, he spent his childhood in London and Kent, he went to school there but he stopped after his father was taken to jail because of the money he had to pay for several people. That made him very sad and mad, so.... he found himself interested in writing because he wanted to clear his mind, he wrote his great novel David Copperfield.
When he became 24 he started to write his great collection of novels, which interested everyone! He felt very sad for poor people, children and people who didn’t have enough education, so he wrote about them a lot such as the great novel Oliver Twist. Actually, Europe in the nineteenth century was full of such things. poor children, hunger, robberies and sadness.
His novels are: Pick Papers(1837), Oliver Twist(1839), Hard Times(1850), A tale of tow cities(1859) and great expectations(1861)
