Your Smile
|
Smiling is good for you!
In most animals, baring teeth is a sign of threat or submission. However in humans, smiling shows a range of more positive emotions such as happiness and friendliness. Smiles can be forced, for example if we have to pose for a photograph or deal with someone we don't like. And, we don't just smile with our mouths; bright eyes are an important feature as well as the rest of our facial expressions (in fact we use a total of 17 muscles to smile!). Smiling isn't something we learn in the way that we learn to read and write (just look at how a baby smiles and laughs), it is pre-programmed behaviour with which we are born. Smiling and laughing are just two of several stimuli, including stress, aerobic exercise and meditation, which make our brains produce endorphins OH MY GOSH! What a good writing! I suggest that you write your own book with some poetry you wrote! And I like Sarah's songs! She is my best singer! one of them at least!! |
