زمن المضارع المستمر Present Continuous

استخداماته
1) نستخدمه عندما نتحدث عن أمور تحدث في هذه الفترة.

You are working hard today
أنت تعمل جاهداً اليوم.

2) نستخدمه للتعبير عن بعض التغييرات التي تحدث في هذه الأثناء أو الفترة.

The population of the world is rising very fast
التعداد السكاني العالمي يرتفع بشكل سريع جداً

Is your English getting better?
أتتحسن لغتك الإنجليزية؟

ومن الاسم: نستخدمه للتعبير عن الأشياء التي تحدث في الغالب.
مثلاً:
I'm always losing things
أنا دائماً ما أضيع الأشياء

طريقة الجمل العادية
في البداية أحب أوضح بعض الإختصارات التي يمكن استخدامها في كتابة الجمل:
I+am = I’m
She+is = she’s
He+is = he’s
It+ is = it’s
We+are = we’re
They+are = they’re
You+are = you’re

Examples
I am going to my work.
I'm playing video games.

She is cleaning her bathroom. or she’s cleaning her bathroom.
Fatima is cleaning her bathroom.

He is trying to sleep. or He’s trying to sleep.
Ahmed is trying to sleep.

It is drinking the milk.
The cat is drinking the milk.

We are fighting each other. Or We’re fighting each other.
I and Ahmed are fighting each other.

They are watching TV. Or they’re watching TV

You are listening to music. Or you’re listening to music

جميع ما ذكر في الأعلى عبارة عن أمثلة على الجمل العادية في المضارع المستمر

الصيغة هي كالآتي:
Pronoun OR Sub. + V. Be + V. – ing + Obj. OR Complement.

أما بالنسبة لـ Which

إذا نستطيع القول أن الصيغة تكون على الصورة التالية:

هذا في حالة الإجابة بنعم

وفي حالة الإجابة بلا تكون الصيغه على الصورة التالية:

النفي Negative Statements

سنتحدث اليوم عن بعض الفرو قات بين زمن :
المضارع البسيط Simple Present
وزمن المضارع المستمر Present Continuous
نستخدم زمن المضارع المستمر للتعبير عن أشياء تحدث في وقت التحدث أو في وقت يدور حول وقت التحدث ( الحدث لم ينتهي )

مثلاً :

? أنظر إلى أحمد إنه يدخن. [ Look at Ahmed, he is smoking ]

? إنني أتحدث مع أخي على التلفون [I'm talking to my brother on the phone ]

? إنني أذاكر الآن لأنه لدي امتحان غدا [I'm studying now because I have an exam tomorrow ]

? ما ذا تفعل يا علي؟ [ Ali, What are you doing?

? إنني أشاهد فيلماً مشوقاً. [I'm watching an interesting movie]

? إن هند تتسوق في سيتي بلازا الآن Hend is shopping in the City Plaza now

? إنني أشرب عصير البرتقال الآن. [I'm drinking orange juice]

? أحمد وفاطمة يستعدان للزفاف الآن [Ahmad and Fatima are getting ready for the wedding now]

ونستخدم المضارع المستمر Present Continuous للتعبير عن الأحداث المؤقتة

مثلاً :

? إنني أعيش مع أصدقائي حتى أجد لي شقة [ I'm living with some friends until I find an apartment ]

هنا قمنا بالتعبير عن حدث يحدث هذه الأيام.

أما بالنسبة للمضارع البسيط Simple Present

نستخدمه لأشياء تحدث بشكل عام أو أحداث تحدث بشكل متكرر كــ /

? حقيقة علمية :

الماء يغلي عند 100 درجة مئوية [ Water boils at 100 Degrees Celsius ]

? حدث معتاد في السعودية مثلاً :

لا تمطر السماء كثيراً في الصيف [ It doesn't rain very much in summer ]

? تريد أن تسأل صديقك ما الذي يفعله في عطلات الأسبوع :

ماذا تفعل عادةَ في عطلات الأسبوع [ What do you usually do at weekends ? ]

? تريد أن تسأل شخص ما عن مهنته :

ماذا تعمل = ما هي مهنتك [ What do you do ? ]

? تريد التحدث عن إحدى عاداتك في النوم :

دائماً ما أذهب إلى النوم قبل منتصف الليل [ I always go to bed before midnight ]

? تريد أن تعير عن شيء ما يحدث في الغالب :

[ Most people learn to swim when they are children ]

كذلك يستخدم المضارع البسيط Simple Present للتعبير عن الأحداث الدائمة

مثلاً :

? يعيش والديّ في القطيف [ My parents live in Qatif ]

? محمد ليس كسولاً [ Mohammed isn't lazy ]

وعادة نستخدم always للأحداث الدائمة

مثلاً : تريد أن تقول ( في المضارع البسيط )

دائما ما أذهب للعمل بالسيارة [ I always go to work by car]

أما بالنسبة لــ always في المضارع المستمر Present Continuous

عندما تريد أن تقول :

إنني دائما ما أضيع الأشياء [ I'm always losing things ]

هذا لا يعني أنني أضيع الأشياء دائماً ، لكن أضيع الأشياء في أغلب الأحيان

? ملاحظات خفيفة :

هناك بعض الأفعال لا تستخدم في زمن المضارع المستمر وهي :

Like – Love – Hate – Want – Need – Prefer – Know – Realize – Sup pose – Mean – Understand -Believe -Remember - Belong –Contain- Consist- Depend

فتقول :

إنني جائع أريد أن آكل شيئاَ [ I'm hungry . I want something to eat ]

ولا نقول [ I'm wanting something to eat ]

وذلك لأن هذه الأفعال لا يمكن أن تستخدم للتعبير عن إحداث حالية

وهناك بعض الأفعال التي عادةً ما تستخدم مع المضارع البسيط Present Simple

كــ : See - Hear - Smell - Taste

ملاحظة : Always لها معنيان :

? إذا استخدمناها في المضارع البسيط فهي تعني ( دائماً )

? إذا استخدمناها في المضارع المستمر فهي تعني ( في أغلب الأحيان )

ملاحظة : نقول /

? Do you see that man over there you seeing وليس Are

? Can you hear something hearing وليس Are you

زمن الماضي البسيط Past Simple Tense

إستخداماته:
نستخدم الماضي البسيط للتحدث عن شئ حصل وانتهى في الماضي.

مثال:
Nizar Qabani was a Syrian poet and diplomat. He lived from 1923 to 1998. He was 75 years old
when he died.

الترجمه: كان نزار قباني شاعر ودبلوماسي سوري. عاش من عام 1923 حتى عام 1998. لقد كان عمره 75 عاماً عندما توفي.

Was / lived / died هذه أمثله على الماضي البسيط.

كيفية تكوين الماضي البسيط:
يتكون الماضي البسيط بإضافة ed إلى آخر الفعل، ماعدا في الأفعال الشاذه.

- هناك نوعين من الفعل:
1. الأفعال العادية أو الغير شاذه Regular Verbs
وهي التي تنتهي ب ed في الماضي البسيط

Examples
Clean = cleaned
Finish = finished
Use = used
Paint = painted
Stop = stopped
Carry = carried

2. الأفعال الشاذه Irregular Verbs
وهي التي لاتنتهي بـ ed في الماضي البسيط

Examples
Write > wrote
Begin > begun
Bend > bent
Bet > bet
Break > broke
was للفرد/ were للجمع < Be

- هناك ضمائر تأخذ was وأخرى تأخذ were

I = was
He / she / it = was
You / they / we = were

I was a writer
He was a writer
She was a writer
You were a writer/writers
We were writers
They were writers

Note:
هناك نوعين من الحروف:
1. حروف العّة Vowel letters
وهي خمسة حروف تضم كلاً من " a – e – u – I – o "

3. الحروف الثابته Constant letters
وتضم بقية حروف اللغة الإنجليزية " a – b – c…….."

- إذا إنتهى الفعل بحرف Y مسبوق بحرف عادي وليس حرف علّه فإننا نستبدل الY هنا إلى i عند تحويله للماضي البسيط.

مثال:
Apply > appli + ed = applied

- أما إذا إنتهى الفعل بحرف Y مسبوقاً بحرف علّه مثل:
-ay – ey –oy –uy

فإن تحويله هنا للفعل الماضي البسيط يكون فقط بإضافة ed لنهاية الفعل دون إستبدال حرف الY إلى i .

مثال:
Play > play + ed = played
Enjoy > enjoy + ed = enjoyed

- وهناك إستثناء في بعض الأفعال مثل:

Lay > laid
Say > said
Pay > paid

نلاحظ بإن الحرف Y إستبدل بi وتم إضافة d بدون e وهذه قاعدة إستثنائية تسري على بعض الأفعال.

- إذا كان الفعل ينتهي بحرف e فالتحويل للفعل الماضي البسيط يكون بإضافة d فقط وليس ed

Hope > hoped
Smile > smiled
Dance > danced
Confuse > confused

- أحياناً ينتهي الفعل بحرف عادي constant مسبوقاً بحرف علّه vowel عندها نضاعف ال constant عند تحويله للماضي البسيط.

Examples
Stop > op > p > pp = stopped
Plan > an > n > nn = planned
Rub > ub > b > bb = rubbed

صيغة الجملة في الماضي البسيط:

Pronoun OR Sub. + V. past + Obj. OR Complement

Examples
Sara registered for her class earlier that day
Ali finished his meal before the others
The cow ate all the grass
You painted the wall
Ahmed and Ali used the new computer
Ahmed, Sara and I cleaned the room
I studied mathematics 2 years ago

صيغة النفي في الماضي البسيط Negative Statements:

Pronoun OR Sub. + did not + V. + Obj. OR Complement

Examples
I did not study mathematics
Sara did not register for her class earlier that day
Ali did not finish his meal before the others
The cow did not eat all the grass
You didn't paint the wall
Ahmed and Ali didn't use the new computer
Ahmed, Sara and I didn't clean the room

Note:
- عندما يسبق الفعل ب did فإننا لانضيف أي شئ للفعل بل نبقيه كما هو كما في المثال السابق.

- did هي الفعل الماضي للفعل do.

- نستطيع إختصار did not لتكون didn't.

السؤال في الماضي البسيط:

صيغة الإجابة:
- إذا كانت yes
Yes +, + Pronoun + did

Examples:

- إذا كانت الإجابة no
No + , + Pronoun + did + not

Examples:
No, I did not
No, she did not.

زمن الماضي المستمر I was doing \ Past Continuous

مثال:

Yesterday Ahmed and Ali played football. They began at 10 o'clock and finished at 11:30.

So, at 10:30 they were playing football.
They were playing = they were in the middle of playing.

بالأمس لعب أحمد وعلي كرة القدم. لقد بدءا عند الساعة العاشرة وانتهيا عند الساعة الحادية عشر والنصف.

إذاً عند الساعة العاشرة والنصف كانا يلعبان كرة القدم.
كانا يلعبان كرة القدم تعني بأنهما كانا في منتصف اللعبة.

الأفعال played و finished هي في زمن الــ Past simple
الماضي البسيط = I did

أما الفعل were doing فلقد كان في زمن الــ Past Continuous
الماضي المستمر = I was doing

إستخدامات زمن الـ past continuous \ الماضي المستمر = I was doing :
نستخدم زمن الماضي المستمر حتى نعبر بقولنا بأن شخصاً ما كان في وسط القيام بشيء ما ضمن وقت محدد.
We use the past continuous to say that somebody was in th

مثال:

This time last year I was living in Riyadh City.

What were you doing at 10 o'clock last night?o

I raised my hand to him, but he wasn't looking

إذا تمعنا في الأمثلة السابقة فسنجد بأن الفعل يحدث في منتصف الحدث

Was living
Were doing
Wasn't looking

ولنقرب الصورة أكثر دعونا نقوم بمقارنة بين زمن الماضي المستمر Past Continuous والماضي البسيط Past Simple

I was walking home when I met Ali. = in the middle of walking home I met Ali.

I walked home after the party last night. = all the day, completely.

Sara was watching television when the phone rang.
Sara watched television a lot when she was ill last year.

من المقارنة اتضحت لنا الرؤية أكثر وأكثربالتأكيد
وغالباً ما نستخدم زمن الماضي البسيط وزمن الماضي المستمر معاً للتعبير بالقول بأن شيئاً ما حدث في منتصف شيء آخر

We often use the past simple and the past continuous together to say that something happened in the middle of something else

مثال على ذلك :

Ahmed burnt his hand while he was cooking the dinner.
هنا وفي نفس الجملة استخدمنا كلا الزمنان ونستخلص ذلك من الفعلان burnt (ماضي بسيط) و was cooking ماضي مستمر

While I was working in the garden, I hurt my finger.

وهناك بعض الأفعال التي لا تستخدم في الأزمان المستمرة وهي:

Like / love / hate / want / need / prefer
Know / realize / suppose / mean / understand / believe / remember / belong / contain / consist / depend

صيغة الماضي المستمر :

Pronoun OR Sub + V. Be + V. –ing + Obj. OR Complement .

أمثلة أخرى :

I was having dinner with some friends at 8 o'clock last night.

Fatima was cooking when I called her.

Ali was playing video games at 3:30 yesterday.

The cow was eating the grass.

You were wearing your clothes when I passed by you

We were not eating our dinner at that time.

They were playing tennis when they heard about the war

بعض التفصيلات في هذه الجزئية :

الأفعال المساعدة هي was / were فمتى نستخدم كلاً منهما ؟
I = was
He / She / It = was
You / We / They = were

يمكننا أن نقوم بالإختصارات التالية :
was + not = wasn't
were + not = weren't

ملاحظة :
" في اللغة الإنجليزية، كأي لغة أخرى هناك شواذ واستثناءات. فعندما تريد أن تقول لو كنت مهندساً فلا تقول If I was an engineer بل تقول If I were an engineer لأنك هنا في موضع تخيل فأنت لست مهندساً، فعندما تضع نفسك موضع أحد فتستخدم were وليس was
