Why do we just talk about love and jokes around here???

Greetings everyone...

I've been looking at the topics you guys post in the forums. Most of the topics are about love or are some pointless jokes. Which is really a waste of time.

Love for example, is an endless topic. And we continue hearing people talking about it (poems and other junk), and it leads to nothing in the end. Just wastes hours and hours of our time. In my opnion, love means nothing to me, I've never fell in love and shall never fall, and I'm a teenager like most of you.

My point is, why don't we post more usefull and interesting topics that be all benifit from, and less junk? Like my topic about plasma and soon my topic about cloning.

No offence to anyone around here... Just posting my thoughts :D

You missed the real purpose of the forums as well...
You haven't discussed any of your topics yet! Some people with JUNK topics they DO take care of others' comments more than people with GOOD topics and that makes their topics more exciting...

Writing and replying at topics is a matter of taste... Just like food, some people like scrambled eggs with no efforts in cooking, easy to be served and even more easy to eat... Some like lobster yumyum sweat cooking, treat, and even needs special eating etiquette... You can't judge people what they like to eat hehe I mean write... I know your tension is good and for our good just take it easy on us, there are many good topics over here... Just crack your fingers and praticipate on them...

Who said that writing love poems is nonsense and wasting times and we even have upcoming competition on poetry... Say that to Shakespeare hehe he is gonna die again...

Love is the most wonderful thing in life... You understand it as a romantic love but most of us TEENS understand love as a great feeling within the heart, caring, trusting, sharing and count on each others... Some people are more lucky they fall in love, we just can't envy them and criticize them...

People pay money for hearing jokes and we got them here for free... We should thank those people who are making our life more FUN... I know you like the serious topic only you don't participate at any and I doubt you read any even yours...

Not all people are interested in science... I myself don't like science at all! I love literatures

Me? I posted a poem and talked about romance? I think you got the wrong person :D I AM THE RAGE! I never ever liked poems, and never will :D.

I respect your opinion. But I still think love is just a waste of time. And I'm sure there are people in this forum who agree with me.

I am a TEEN. And I feel no need for love... How do you explain that? :D

Jokes... yeah, they are sometimes necessary to keep us sane, because if we keep on studying and working with no jokes to laugh at, we will become robot-like humans *5

Most people don't like serious stuff, that's right. But my topics aren't like scientific papers or long boring lectures. I tried to write it in a very simple, summarized method so people can understand it. Even people who aren't interested in science will benefit from and gain more knowledge.

Come on people... What do you think? Post your thoughts :D

love isn't every thing in our life
and for u shook u said that love
is the most wonderful things
in the world
but we can build our life on it
we can't just forget about the world
and talk about love all the time!!
and I don't think love should be
felt until the person gets married
How should we build our world
if we gave up 4 our feelings
we should think about our future
how to make it better
how should we develop our children

and 4 the topics< i'm preparing some
great topics not about
love....I don't feel it anyway!!
but I'm very busy these days with
collage exams and I won't finish until
3 weeks!!!

Well it's true that most of the threads are about love and jokes
But… well…. I think its ok since it helps us gathering new words you know…
But well I'm with you…
It would be great to have so other topics…

But that doesn’t mean that poems and jocks are awful…
